
Executive Assistant to CEO

Engage Abilities is a registered service provider of the NDIS as well as a service provider for the Department of Communities and Justice through the Casework Support Scheme (CSS). Our team of highly experienced staff aims to provide our participants with quality services that reflect their needs and promote their dignity, wellbeing, abilities and independence.
We are looking to appoint **1 Executive Assistant **(permanent full-time) acting as a highly trusted advisor to the CEO.
**Responsibilities**
The Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in the development and functioning of the organisation. The role consists of:
- Researching, prioritising and following up on incoming issues and concerns on behalf of the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Providing calendar management to the CEO; Prioritising inquiries and requests for meetings.
- Answering phone calls and organising structured meetings, completing minutes, distributing meeting minutes, agendas and meeting packs.
- Provide honest and accurate advice and feedback to the CEO on future strategies for the organisation.
- Accurately track and manage expenses for the CEO.
- Liaise with and direct Department Managers (Programs, Finance, Compliance & Business Development) to action tasks on behalf of the CEO; Ensuring clear communication and proactive responses to meet deadlines.
- Assist in implementation, monitoring and reporting on strategic plans to inform decision making and support achievement of organisational objectives.
- Lead and/or contribute to projects to support the achievement of organisational level strategic and operational objectives
- Develop and oversee the implementation and evaluation of administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes.
- Accompany the CEO on work-related travel to complete administrative tasks.
- Support the CEO in his additional role as the Chair of a Charity organisation, including; Managing meetings, travel (domestic and international) to evaluate projects, and promoting of activities and projects.
**What we can offer you**
- Salary range between $85,000 to $90,000

**About you**
- You embrace Engage Abilities’ values and missions and are committed to achieving excellence in the community service sector
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in an assistant role (preferable as an Executive Assistant) and have demonstrated your ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills to establish and nurture positive relationships with different stakeholders
- You have a pragmatic approach to conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making and can manage balancing priorities thanks to your exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent computer literacy and writing skills are required
- Have a formal qualification in a business related field (Cert.IV or higher).
- You hold a driver licence and Australian Passport
