Digital Platform Iteration Leader

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a Platform Iteration Leader, to lead the agile delivery practice across our multi-disciplinary web, native mobile and integration teams.

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end agile delivery of initiatives from inception, though to the hands of our customers, leading a team of Platform Iteration Managers to ensure work is scoped, planned, and resourced appropriately. This role is also responsible for leading the agile practices that foster the best possible health, happiness and performance of our brilliant teams and will be a champion of continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Platforms & Engineering, this leadership role acts as the primary point of contact for delivery planning across the digital and integration teams, maintaining transparency of work, milestones, risks, issues and releases, as well as implementing delivery reporting frameworks to monitor and improve cycle time, code quality, automation coverage and team culture.

As a people leader, you’ll directly manage a team of 6-8 Platform Iteration Managers and be responsible for their continued coaching and development.

**What your days will look like**:

- Lead team of Iteration Managers with platform delivery responsibility for ongoing asset enhancements aligned to business priorities
- Deliver E2E technology plan in a scaled agile format - managing digital & API roadmap, key blockers and escalations etc.
- Act as a mentor to the team, implementing team knowledge sharing methods to continuously improve team effectiveness
- Accountable to deliver on customer outcomes, services and experiences using agile methods and cross-disciplinary teams
- Managing iterations, scope, priorities, stakeholders, risks, issues and timelines
- Designing & managing effective delivery processes and support to provide financial reporting
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve overall throughput of the team aligned to established KPIs through engineering practices (such as DevOps mindset, Automation first, Using Cloud services and extreme programing (XP) practices such as pair programming, test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration) and actively coaching teams/individuals to achieve quality outcomes
- Lead and guide platform teams and its stakeholders to use Agile/Scrum practices

**About you**:
You have a proven history of delivery using SAFe/Agile in large enterprises with a large scope (multiple countries, new technologies, digital experience). You have demonstrated experience delivering platforms or technology such as Adobe, Mobile native apps, and AWS and experience with multi-tenant SaaS on public cloud using AWS.

You’re a seasoned delivery leader who will use their extensive experience to make an impactful contribution to Medibank beyond the immediate stream of work. You have experience taking an active role in mentoring less experienced Iteration manager(s). You have proven ability to contribute positively to the culture of your team, building engagement and morale, as well as being involved in recruiting, set structure and processes and maintaining multiple high performing teams.
