We are looking for an **Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist **with these qualities to join RPG's People Team.

Retail Prodigy Group, is the direct to consumer, retail partner for NIKE and SAMSUNG operating mono branded stores across Australia and New Zealand. Since 2011, RPG has driven the rapid expansion of over 50 Nike and Samsung Branded Stores including Flagships in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland's most vibrant shopping districts.

This awesome opportunity, reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, will see you enhancing the experience of our 800 strong team to deliver Ultimate Customer Experiences through planned, engaging and creative communication and engagement activities. This is a varied role including building intranet content, digital communication, face to face events, videos and newsletters to inform and engage employees and partnering with the CEO & RPG Functional Leaders regarding communications.

**About the Role**:
As the Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist you will leverage your passion for communication and employee-centric communication to enhance the experience of our team helping them deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience - unparalleled in the retail industry.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing the strategic direction and coordination of the internal communications and engagement strategy and plan to support business goals, including effective delivery of internal communication initiatives and the production of supporting communications, written materials, electronic communications and events.
- maintaining strong relationships, proactively consulting and collaborating with our Support Office departments to support the successful delivery of internal communications and engagement programs.
- Planning and coordinating key employee engagement events & initiatives in the RPG calendar aligned to our strategic plan
- Drafting and editing high quality written material within tight timeframes and providing coaching and support to staff in the same.
- Quality assurance, tone and key messages in all internal communications.
- Developing and implementing appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of internal communications and engagement strategies, channels and initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing strategies and tools for monitoring and evaluation of the internal communications framework, including risk and contingency management, and impact and quality measures, to identify and address progress and overall effectiveness of the strategies.

**To be successful in this role you have**:

- A relevant tertiary degree in Marketing, PR, or Communications.
- Proficiency in creating and executing business-wide communication strategies
- Significant experience coordinating and developing communications material
- High quality written and verbal communications skills
- Well-developed organisational skills
- High level of computer literacy, advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Outlook and Canva highly desirable
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to establish strong working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement
- Proven ability to effectively work autonomously or in a team as required
- Capacity to prioritise work & negotiate on conflicting timeframes
- Demonstrable skill in intranet/website design, social media and content management
