The Role
The Internal Communications Leader will join a high performing and award-winning Corporate Communications team comprising digital, external, and internal communications professionals. This team presents the brand voice of Aurecon as it interacts with clients, employees, and other stakeholders. It aligns Aurecon’s verbal, visual and digital messages and activities with its purpose and strategy.
You will bring an innovative and creative mindset to ensure our communications cut-through and engage our key audiences. You will understand the changing landscape of internal communications in the new world of work and provide strategic advice on how to build and execute the internal communications strategy.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’
- Designing and delivering a strategic internal communications programme that is employee centric and advances business success
- Working with the CEO and leadership team to deliver impactful executive communications.
- Engaging with stakeholders to discern strategic priorities, against an ongoing brief to produce high quality communications deliverables.
- Supporting a distinctive and unconventional brand as a source of differentiation and competitive advantage through brand advocacy by our leaders and employees
- Leading the internal communications team and key stakeholders to create and deliver omni-channel communications that support business strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Journalism, Corporate Affairs or a related area
- Extensive experience in a Corporate Communications role working with CEO and executive leadership communications
- Strong business acumen to translate strategy into clear, timely and effective internal communication
- Agility in straddling strategy, planning and execution, with hands-on operational responsibilities
- Skilled at communicating with a variety of audiences in a range of styles
- Experience working in Microsoft & SharePoint environments and leading digital communication platforms and channels
- Resilient and respectful individual, who is effective in engaging with stakeholders and working with virtual teams across multiple offices and countries to achieve outcomes
