YOUR ROLE

The International Communities Coordinator supports MACS schools with all aspects of international student enrolments, including Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) compliance, application assessments, visa guidance, agent engagement, child safety requirements, and the coordination of short- and long-term study programs. This role is designed to support the Community Engagement and Growth (CEG) team ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of the MACS international student program and contributes to building a vibrant pipeline of culturally diverse student enrolments, aligned with our mission and system growth goals.

Please Note: this is a seven-month fixed-term role

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support schools in managing international enrolment applications and ensuring compliance with CRICOS, the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and the National Code by partnering with school-based staff to support enrolment processes, compliance readiness, and student monitoring
  • Support community engagement initiatives including global enrolment campaigns, culturally responsive events, and school-based activities that foster community and inclusive participation.
  • Collaborate across MACS directorates and with external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and contribute to strategic planning aligned with MACS2030 goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide community insights through regular reporting, while contributing to other duties as required within your scope of work.
  • Liaise with education agents and overseas partners to promote MACS schools and ensure accurate representation of offerings
  • Oversee and coordinate MACS short-term and long-term study tours, including logistics, documentation, and pastoral care frameworks
  • Support the administration and promotion of international student exchange programs and student travel (inbound and outbound)

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in international student enrolment and CRICOS/ESOS compliance
  • Sound understanding of Australian student visa processes, Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS), and related systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively and professionally with agents, schools, families, and regulators
  • Ability to assess applications, conduct risk reviews, and interpret regulatory requirements
  • High level of attention to detail, with strong written communication, and administrative accuracy
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, event coordination, and stakeholder relationship management
