**THE ROLE**

- Experienced in asset data stewardship and providing asset performance insights for decision making?

- Comfortable working with a broad remit and dealing with ambiguity?

The Manager Data & Insights is responsible for leading a team to deliver insights that will underpin Homes Victoria's investment in its existing and future asset base and supporting operations. The role will have a critical role in defining any changes to the asset data hierarchy, information collection regime and supporting analytical tools that underpins decision making.
The manager will be working closely and collaboratively with internal staff, the department, and Victorian Government to develop responses and initiatives that deliver better information and insight that leads to improved outcomes for renters. The Manager will also play a critical role in contributing to new models for the delivery of services to enhance renter experiences and satisfaction.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**

1. Effectively manage and provide leadership to a team of employees by:
(a) leading and supporting individuals to achieve their potential and contribution to organisational goals and outcomes
(b) modelling behaviours integral to good people management and departmental values
(c) where relevant, managing and monitoring specific improvement objectives in annual improvement plans relating to the area of responsibility
(d) pro-actively building and maintaining positive relationships with peers and stakeholders across the organisation.

2. Proactively engage in building the team's capability to keep pace with contemporary practices and skills that benefit the team and ultimately, our renters.

3. Provide sound and strategic advice to the executive on Asset Information strategy, insights therein, to align with AMAF requirements
