**Your day at NTT DATA**
This role is responsible for integrating the reuse, improvement, and creation of knowledge assets as well as analyzing existing knowledge to identify content requiring updates or retirement.
The Knowledge Management Analyst analyzes incidents for various technologies to ensure the resolution of any future incidents proactively and quickly.
**What you'll be doing**
The SharePoint/Knowledge Management Responsibilities, Experience and Requirements include:
Sharepoint experience in:
- Developing secure Sharepoint solutions (pages, forms, banners, titles, text boxes, web parts, lists, folders, libraries, documents, announcements, surveys, calendars)
- Setting up a general development environment for Sharepoint
- Creating site columns, content types, and lists for Sharepoint
- Creating Sharepoint workflow solutions
- Integrating business data into Sharepoint
- Creating web parts for Sharepoint
- Building and debugging Sharepoint solutions
- Extending Sharepoint tools in Visual Studio
Knowledge Management experience in:
Updating and managing content on a SharePoint site to:
- Improve user experience and content
- Develop needed content upgrades
- Monitor and analyze performance and effectiveness
- Provide reports to reflect data.
- Developing training material and training users in the use of Sharepoint solutions developed.
- Analysing existing business processes, information workflow, and data storage and control procedures to identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and improvements in the sharing of information.
- Administration and maintenance of classified documentation on SharePoint website.
- Implementing controls to manage and report documentation status through the documentation lifecycle (create, maintain, update, archive).
- Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other applicable field and/or relevant Knowledge Management certifications.
- Experience:
- 5 years working in Knowledge Management for DoD organizations.
- Ability to create products and presentations that communicate ideas effectively and concisely to military command staff.
- Working knowledge and understanding of SharePoint management in a Department of Defense environment.
- Working knowledge and understanding of web-based information sharing tools.
