**We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to step up into a permanent full-time leadership position**

**About the Role**

Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, the Cardiac Coordinator will provide clinical leadership, workforce planning and day-to-day management of the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic services in North Shore Private Hospital. This key leadership opportunity will be required to engage, motivate and influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels to grow and expand the operational direction of this service. At the same time, this role will lead innovation, strengthen operational processes whilst ensuring high quality patient care.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in Cardiology and/or Cardiothoracics, with demonstrated leadership experience. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive change and implement risk minimisation strategies. This role will facilitate the development and fostering of an effective team culture across various departments.

You will also:

- Have a strategic vision to promote the growth of Cardiac Services
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners to enable high quality patient outcomes
- Provide clinical operational direction for the service to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based
- Effective daily management of staff, financial and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as a Clinical Manager and/or relevant specialty experience
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement / risk management program
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel
