Support Services Assistants - ACHA Health

ACHA Health are currently recruiting for Domestic Support Staff (house-keeping and cleaning roles) to join our busy and supportive hospitals on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in dynamic team environments that strive to deliver outstanding customer service to our patients and medical professionals.  

About the role:

Cleaning of patient rooms to a private healthcare environment standardPatient transportEnvironmental servicesMaintain excellent communication with department managers

ACHA Health offers:

Increased take-home pay with access to salary sacrifice, enabling you to pay less tax on your income

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over 7 days – AM shifts starting 0600 and PM shifts finishing 2100 including weekends

25 hours plus available per week - $32.45 per hour (note figure includes 25%25 casual loading)

15%25 afternoon and 50%25 weekend penalty rates

 South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance  Provide evidence of required pre-employment Vaccination history and SerologyExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a team with a 'can do' attitudePassion for delivering exceptional customer service in an empathetic mannerExcellent time management skills

Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.

Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an infusion suite, a 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit. 

The Memorial Hospital offers a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery.  The Memorial Hospital has 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit.
