**Billing Liaison Officer**

**North Shore Private Hospital, St Leonards**

**Part Time Role (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm)**

**The Opportunity**

The role is responsible for billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, collections, reporting; to name a few. You will have outstanding communication skills where you will use your superior customer service skills, liaising with internal and external customers.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Previous accounts receivable experience essential
- Strong customer service skills by telephone and in person
- Knowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processes.
- High level of computer literacy and advanced user in Microsoft programs
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
- Relevant health services experience (desirable)

**About Our Hospital**

North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 312-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore. The hospital’s specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery. With a focus on “personalised” care, fully-equipped with a Maternity Customer Service Officer, North Shore Private Hospital provides the full circle of maternity care - including our emotional wellbeing program, an antenatal interview with a midwife and preparation for birth and specialised parenting programs.

**Requirements**:

- _Must _provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
