**About the role**

An opportunity to join our Technology Transformation team as a Head of Technology Strategic Partnerships has arisen. You will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of Technology strategic partnerships and vendor management ensuring we are creating and optimising partnerships for value to meet our business objectives and deliver the Technology strategy and roadmap.

**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting to the GM, Technology Management & Transformation you will develop market leading strategic partnership approach, aligning our engagement roadmap with business objectives, IT architecture and delivery goals.

You will also:

- Establish and maintain influential working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Work with vendors to ensure a common understanding of priorities and levers to allow for maximum value creation
- Develop strategic, analytical, and financial quantitative and qualitative business modelling to unlock business insights and opportunities across the Strategic Partners over the next 3 years.
- Create and manage governance framework for strategic partnerships, including interactions with vendors and across key stakeholders at Coles
- Develop and oversee implementation of any action plans across vendors and key strategic partnerships, driving accountability in a matrix of stakeholders, and lead the charge to deliver results

**Good things you’ll need**

We’re after a commercial and strategic professional with experience developing and implementing robust vendor management frameworks for large, complex organisations.

You’ll also need:

- Experience reporting to a CIO or similar, influencing and guiding them on key strategic partnership and vendor management issues and decisions
- Ability to monitor performance metrics to evaluate vendor partnerships
- Ability to lead and ensure ongoing development of employees within the function as outlined within company guidelines
- Ability to achieve outcomes under pressure and working effectively in an environment of uncertainty and change
