We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Corporate Strategy to take a key leadership remit in the team. This is an ideal role for someone with extensive strategy experience that has a passion for driving business performance. Joining the business at an exciting time as we deliver on key strategic initiatives. This role is for a **three month fixed term** contract to cover parental leave.

**About The Role**:
Reporting into the GM of Strategy, this is a key leadership role in the business where you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Coles Group and identifying new areas of organic growth across each of our businesses. You will also:

- Drive tangible business performance improvement through opportunity identification, feasibility analysis, strategic recommendations and implementation
- Lead the annual corporate planning process for the Group including the board strategy days and the executive leadership preparation process
- Lead and develop a high calibre team of Strategy managers and analysts
- Provide strategic governance for Coles including management and tracking of key strategic programmes, ensuring Coles remains on track to deliver Corporate plan

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a passionate leader with a depth of experience in strategy or consulting. You will have experience building dynamic teams with tangible examples of driving performance. You will also need:
You’ll also need:

- A degree qualified in finance, account, economics or engineering; MBA preferred
- extensive experience in a strategy role and / or management consulting environment or demonstrated performance in similar role leading strategy for a large, fast-moving ASX listed corporate
- a proven track record for delivery of strategic analysis, recommendations including execution of complex business change
- the ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders to achieve a desired outcome
- experience working with senior leadership, consulting firms and other external stakeholders
- The ability to confidently present to executive leadership and board
- demonstrated experience managing and developing a high-performing team
