**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for entering invoices and performing the weekly creditors payment run. This role assists with the preparation of general finance tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

- Accounts payable processing including weekly creditors payment run
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the Accounts Payable ledger
- Assisting business managers approval of expenses and budget control
- Processing supplier and client invoices
- Handling finance mailbox
- Assisting in month end and financial reporting

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a strong administrator with superior attention to detail. You enjoy the accuracy in what you do and love to be exact. You never miss a deadline, probably because you are organised and excellent at prioritising your work and a master at juggling competing tasks.

You have strong and clear communication skills. You are able to build and maintain successful working relationships and are able to liaise with various departments and suppliers well as well as respond to requirements professionally and per agreed or expected targets.

You are trustworthy and reliable. You work well autonomously, this role has an opportunity for flexible working, so you would thrive in working efficiently with little supervision.

Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Tertiary education preferred in business, finance, accounting or commerce.
