**Executive Assistant (Procurement)**

**Your role**
- The Executive Assistant provides a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and to support the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) achievement of organisational objectives and NSW Government priorities.
**What you’ll do**
The Executive Assistant (Procurement) (EA) provides a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and to support the Senior Executive/s achievement of organisational objectives.
You will provide EA, administrative and support services to facilitate the operation of the team/unit.
As an EA for within our Finance and Procurement Services division, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the CPOs time.
- Manage the CPOs diary appointments, records and correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements, and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda
- Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements
- Gather, collate, and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planning
- Maintain and update administrative practices, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Effective procurement is fundamental to Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) by enabling the delivery of programs, goods, and services that support a safe, just, and inclusive NSW. - The Executive Assistant will be supporting the CPO, providing them with a unique and valuable insights into DCJ and the wider NSW Government.
