**About the Company**
Our NSW State Government client regulates motor accidents CTP insurance, workers compensation insurance and the home building compensation scheme in NSW.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Executive Officer to join their team in Sydney CBD with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within the Strategy and Regulatory Division, you will be required to provide a wide range of executive and project support services including strategic advice, managing communications and implementing strategies to support organisational objectives

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:

- Act as the Executive point of contact
- Liaise with stakeholders and action requests to coordinate communication
- Implement, monitor and report on strategic and operational plans
- Conduct research, gather and collate information to support informed decision-making outcomes
- Provide expertise and strategic advice
- Preparation of high-level documentation including complex correspondence, briefing notes, submissions, presentation material and reports
- Financial management including budgets, planning, reporting and controls
- Lead and contribute to projects supporting strategic operational objectives
- Records and database management ensuring confidentiality, integrity and accuracy
- Maintain current knowledge of legislation, reforms and government policy direction
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to emerging contentious issues to ensure the effective resolution, mitigating risks
- Ensure compliance with best practice and Departmental processes and procedures

**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:

- Demonstrated Executive Officer experience
- Previous Ministerial or Parliamentary correspondence experience
- Public Sector experience highly desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently
- Reliable remote internet access
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
