**About the role**:
We are seeking a highly experienced Performance Manager to lead our global performance marketing strategy from Sydney. This is a pivotal role within our team, responsible for overseeing our end-to-end digital acquisition funnel, with a strong focus on PPC, analytics, and multi-market growth. This individual will also take full ownership of our Performance Team based in Malaysia, managing cross-channel campaigns and ensuring alignment with business goals across regulated regions.

**Responsibilities**:
**Paid Media Leadership & Campaign Strategy**
- Own and drive paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta, and other key platforms.
- Lead campaign execution, optimization, and scaling with full-funnel ownership.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to stringent platform compliance (forex/CFD/crypto).
- Implement testing, bidding strategies, and optimization frameworks to increase ROI.

**Performance Team Oversight**
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Malaysia-based Performance Team (Paid Media, Brand Campaigns, PerformanceAnalytics).
- Ensure smooth team operations across all paid acquisition channels.
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations in line with global marketing goals.

**Performance Analytics & Data Integration**
- Oversee all tracking, analytics, and reporting using GA4, Appsflyer, and GTM.
- Manage server-side tracking integration with backend systems (e.g., Snowflake).
- Own UTM tracking protocols and campaign attribution accuracy across platforms.
- Work with BI and dev teams to ensure robust data infrastructure and dashboards.

**Regulatory & Compliance Expertise**
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to future-proof campaign setup.

**Omnichannel & Programmatic Growth**
- Explore and manage campaigns via Taboola, AdRoll, direct buys, and programmatic platforms (e.g., DV360, TTD).
- Identify high-intent inventory sources for niche market penetration.

**Localization & Market Expansion Support**
- Deliver strategic market recommendations based on regional data and insights.
- Help shape campaigns in emerging or underperforming regions.

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years in digital performance marketing, ideally in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven track record managing teams and digital budgets in regulated environments.
- Demonstrated success in early-stage fintech or startup environments (0-3 years).
- Expertise in Meta Ads & Google Ads policy and account structures.
- Solid experience with GA4, Appsflyer, GTM, and backend integration with BI/data teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with hands-on UTM and attribution knowledge.
- Desirable: Experience in Taboola, Adroll, or direct media buying.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
