**Your new role**
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, your role will include:

- Provide safety leadership across the business
- Strategic partner in the delivery of the key WHS initiatives and priorities
- Assist with the Management of WHSE Management System
- Work within the WHS Contractor Management System and ensure appropriate induction of subcontractors and maintenance of compliance records
- Developing and updating company policies and procedures and communicating changes
- Developing and reviewing risk assessments; conducting site inspections and investigations
- Reporting of hazards, injuries and incidents to management and statutory authorities
- Develop education strategies and delivery training to ensure that all employees and managers understand and comply with relevant policies and procedures

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar WHS role within a similar environment
- A good understanding of Australian standards for OHS management systems
- Experience in working with and influencing stakeholders
