Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Data Analyst** to deliver on the Australian Government’s election commitment to replace the Community Development Program with a new program.
Our client is seeking someone keen to be part of a small, happy and collaborative team, who is excited by the opportunity for data to be used with impact.
**About the role**:
- Preparing data in Qlik and excel or other tools for use in regular hard copy monitoring reports
- Responding to requests for information using tools such as Qlik and excel
- Checking the accuracy of data used to inform various teams in NIAA and external stakeholders
- Contributing to written reports analysing various aspects of the program
- Performing data checking related to CDP data governance requirements around data privacy, and the risk of data re-identification
- Participating in the Community of Practice to improve the usability of administrative data
- Contributing to technical documentation to assist the team reproduce results from previous requests for information
**Ideally, you will have**:
- Ability to provide expertise in developing new reports in response to policy changes and modifying existing reports in response to changes in business areas’ requirements using tools such Qlik, SQL, R, Python, SAS, etc
- The ability to learn new coding languages and/or software packages
- Demonstrate advanced data communication skills including: Translating business intelligence concepts into non-technical language and adapting communication style effectively for a range of audiences
- Demonstrate intermediate data visualisation skills including: Producing, assessing, enhancing and communicating a range of graphs using Qlik or similar tools for a range of stakeholders
