**The Role**
Reporting to the Assistant Director - Skills Assessments and Systems Support, the data analyst is responsible for providing support in the development and implementation of the branch’s data and reporting tools.

The Data Analyst will work closely with others both within the team and other programs within the branch. They will be a skilled and motivated individual with relevant experience, who can work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, who communicates clearly and purposefully, and who is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities as set out in the relevant APS work level standards:

- Undertaking analytical projects in collaboration with business areas across the branch. This will include working in a team to scope, plan, and undertake a range of project tasks against agreed timelines.
- Developing different ways to visualise and report results of data analysis to internal clients and senior managers and maintain regular reporting/visualisations.
- Developing and maintaining data assets, including basic data modelling, development of business rules to support data quality and integrity, and integration with analysis and visualisation tools.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to scope the opportunities to leverage data and lift data capability within the organisation.
