**Our Client**
Our client is a CBD-based government agency tasked with developing policies, programs and services that focus on innovative new ideas and industries to create future opportunity and strengthen the Australian economy. Working with this department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level expertise to enable the enhancement of their corporate systems, as well as the continual improvement of their customer-facing services.

**The Role**
Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work in an RStudio and Python script environments with some prototyping in Posit/RShiny for a range of audience cohorts and across a range of platforms and devices.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Be familiar with or able to quickly understand labour market and skills data from a range of sources and their inter-relationships.
- Ensure high-quality data and script integrity through meticulous routine quality assurance.
- Effectively navigate R Studio to update data sets and run data queries.

**Skills and Experience**
- Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in exploring, gathering, refining, transforming, and analysing data, with a strong focus on data quality and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of some labour force and skills datasets, such as ANZSCO, ANZSIC, Labour Force Survey data, NCVER data, Higher Education data, or others.
- Ability to learn quickly, work to short deadlines and manage competing priorities of varying complexity and urgency.
- 1-2 years’ experience in data visualisation using tools such as Excel, Power BI, R Shiny, etc.
