Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Data Analyst Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, the role of the Data Analyst Officer is to:

- Support the accurate calculation of AN-ACC Transition funding
- Build, test, implement and manage financial and analytical models, using MS Excel, GPS and Qlik
- Analyse and perform a range of statistical and mathematical techniques
- Support the delivery of ongoing Executive reporting, including designing, researching, analysing and presenting information in various formats.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Resilience and ability to adapt to changing priorities in an environment with a consistently high workload.
- A solid foundation of analytical skills, with the ability to formulate results, identify trends and summarise findings.
- Knowledge and understanding of data management, data sharing, data integration and data governance.
- Attention to detail and strong governance and record keeping skills.
- High level of experience with MS Excel and other related systems.
- Ability to show initiative, be proactive, innovative, and inclusive
- Ability to work flexibly across the Section to support urgent work as directed, commensurate to the classification level of the position
