Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. ABOUT THE ROLE
Venues NSW was formed in December 2020 and is a commercially focused arm of the NSW Government. We collaborate closely with Destination NSW, major sporting codes and promoters to excite and entertain the people of NSW with a rich and varied calendar of major events. This role is based at the Moore Park headquarters of Venues NSW.
Supporting the Payroll Manager, this role will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with the processing of the weekly payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, and responding to employee payroll inquiries.
This is a part-time role within the Finance team, requiring availability from Wednesday through Friday. The Payroll Officer plays a crucial role in delivering efficient and effective payroll services in line with Venues NSW policies (Code of Conduct), Enterprise Agreements, and relevant Awards.
ABOUT YOU
**Ideal applicants will ideally have the following**:

- Demonstrated payroll experience in a similar role
- Proven performance and an understanding of basic payroll and accounting procedures
- Intermediate Microsoft office capability including Excel
- Knowledge of Preceda or similar payroll systems
