**The Role**

As the principal records manager for the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Land SPO (EWIS Land), you will have the opportunity to implement innovative solutions on how we manage information. You will be accountable to have and maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

The Information and Records Management Officer will possess sound commercial and business acumen. The role sits within the Business Management Unit and may require additional duties as they pertain to the Business Management environment.

**About our Team**

The EWIS Land Business Management Unit is comprised of members of diverse skills and disciplines who work together to provide governance, assurance and enabling services to support a wide variety of activities undertaken by EWIS Land Executive and SPO business units.
- Have a sound knowledge of the National Archives Records Authorities (RAs), including sentencing and disposal/archival processes;
- Work collaboratively with EWIS Land stakeholders to support the achievement of outcomes;
- Highly developed communication skills;
- Have the capacity to think strategically and develop plans and processes to enhance the achievement of business outcomes;
- Have high level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives;
- Actively participate in team work and group activities; and
- Have experience in Electronic Document Management Systems.
