Our
**Federal Government client** is seeking to engage multiple
**APS6 Technical Advisory** positions for a 12-month assignment with potential extension in their fantastically located
**Geelong or Melbourne** offices.

**About the Team**

The Technical Advisory Branch plays a critical role in providing support and building the capability of the Agency's staff and partners to make complex decisions where technical or clinical advice is required. The branch is also a key contributor to policy development and practice guidance for the Agency.

**About the Role**

The
**APS6 Technical Advisory** is a team membership position within the NDIA and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. It will provide detailed technical, policy and operational support in relation to complex problems.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Managing complex and sensitive conversations and situations associated with approval of funding.
- Liaising and working with stakeholders, delegates, partners and providers to ensure consistent decision making and outcome achievement.
- Supporting Agency staff conducting internal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal review of decisions.
- Providing high quality written and telephone advice and record keeping.

**What's on Offer?**
- Position located in Geelong or the Melbourne CBD, Richmond
- APS6 $58.50/ph + super
- Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
- Standard Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm

It is highly desirable that the successful applicant understand or have lived experience in the field of disability. It is also highly desirable that you have qualifications in the areas of
**Occupational Therapy** or as a
**Specialist Behavioural Support Practitioner**.
