**THE ROLE**

**Responsible for the identification, development and optimisation of renewable fuels opportunities, and securing strategic infrastructure to enable the delivery of commercially competitive export scale and domestic projects and create positions for growth.**

**The Infrastructure Access Manager role is a key leadership role within the diverse multi-functional Future Fuels team and is a key link with State and Federal governments to influence strategic infrastructure upgrades, regulatory and electricity market rule changes and achieve beneficial conditions to support Origin’s renewable fuels interests and the emerging Hydrogen industry.**

**More about the role**:

- Work with Governments and private industry to develop infrastructure master planning to support large scale (multi-gigawatt) renewable fuel developments.
- Represent Origin with Senior levels of Government, Government Corporations and infrastructure developers on infrastructure planning and execution
- Build a portfolio of land and infrastructure to support future growth strategies and develop and/or influence long term infrastructure masterplans
- Develop and identify strategic renewable fuels opportunities and optimise and secure infrastructure and inputs to de-risk future projects and enable feasible project execution.
- Deliver project opportunities through a gated process and facilitate optimisation of location specific elements
- Secure critical resources to each facility boundary, including, power, water, land and port access through execution of agreements. Work closely with the project team to deliver the strategic infrastructure for each project
- Identify key infrastructure stakeholders (public and private) and determine if partnering is a viable option

**More about you**:

- Experience in complex large scale infrastructure access negotiations, including commercial elements
- Experience on infrastructure advisory councils/development committees/boards
- An understanding of the workings of all levels of governments
- Financial modelling and/or economic modelling experience
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using qualitative and quantitative information to support public sector decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage and support team members’ development
- An understanding of the economic, financial and social drivers of government investment, decision-making and policy
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to gain endorsement across all levels of business
