**About the role**

The role of the Booking Coordinator in Language Services is primarily to undertake all bookings and associated supporting administrative duties, including formulation of appointment lists for internal and external Interpreters. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a professional approach to working calmly and effectively in a busy team environment, as part of a large and complex organisation.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Experience in a busy clinic or office environment, managing multiple electronic appointments.
- Capable of learning new systems quickly and performing tasks in a timely manner.
- Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Capable of planning and organising work on both an individual and a team basis.
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
