**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading Australian FMCG with a warehouse based in Sydney’s Inner-West. They have an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career as their Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**
As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operation in the warehouse, as well as supervising and leading your warehouse team. You provide support and in the day-to-day operations whilst implementing changes and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Your duties will include:

- Ensuring accurate receiving, storing, dispatching and high quality of goods
- Ensuring warehouse teams are engaged and work efficiently and effectively
- Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
- Cost saving initiatives are developed and implemented
- Warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently
- Maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure consistent KPI reporting and monitoring to meet established targets
- Rostering and organisation of adequate labour

**What you'll need to succeed**
As a successful Warehouse Manager, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role, as well as the following:

- Proven experience as a warehouse manager within a fast-paced environment, exposure to fresh food preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to enable you to effectively lead your team
- Demonstrates innovation and forward-thinking who drives an engaging high-performance culture
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- A track record in people management
- Strong computer literacy and systems skills
- Current forklift licence desired but not essential
- Current driver’s licence

**What you'll get in return**
