Galaxy Personnel currently have a day shift opportunity available in the South Eastern suburbs, the role is being offered on a full-time and is available for immediate start. We are looking for a warehouse Manager who have a proven background in food, pharmaceutical or beverage industries.
Australian family-owned business with more than 30 years of experience in food manufacturing supplying to major supermarket chains.
**About the role**:
We are currently recruiting for a talented, pro-active, and dynamic **Warehouse Manager**, responsible for the Supervision of staff and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Warehouse. This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis.
The purpose of the role is to directly manage and implement the required warehousing and dispatch functions of the business in an efficient and effective manner. The role is responsible for receipt, storage and dispatch of all goods including raw ingredients, packaging and finished product.
**Duties & Tasks**:
- Ensuring accurate input into the Warehouse/Inventory Management System
- Mentor, lead and motivate a small Warehouse team.
- Maintain records of inventory and activity logs.
- Adhere to company policies.
**Skills & experience**:
- Experience in a similar role in food manufacturing is essential.
- Valid forklift license
- Proven experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor
- Physically fit and able to do manual duties.
**Job Type**: Full Time
**Salary**: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Schedule: Day shift 8am to 4pm
