Your role at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital

As the Director Business and Service Development, this role is pivotal in driving the Hospital's growth to meet its financial and operational goals.- Develop, implement, and oversee strategies to enhance the Hospital's revenue and margins.- Identify, lead, and execute specific business and service development opportunities.- Drive the Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) engagement strategy, including recruitment and retention, utilizing market intelligence and performance analytics to guide activities.- Lead and manage the annual business planning process.- Champion, develop, and implement innovative initiatives to enhance Hospital operations and services.- Oversee and direct the Hospital’s internal and external communication strategies.- Provide strategic insights and contribute to decision-making as an essential member of the Hospital Management Committee (HMC).

You will hold a tertiary qualification in commerce, business, or a related discipline and/or possess extensive experience in a strategic leadership role within a large, complex organization. A solid understanding and working knowledge of the private healthcare sector are essential.

Your strong analytical skills, combined with experience using relevant databases, will enable you to support market share growth in the healthcare industry. You will have a proven track record of developing and achieving strategic and operational objectives.

To excel in this role, you will bring demonstrated expertise in project management, along with exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
