**Our role**:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic PR Campaign Manager to lead the development and execution of PR campaigns that elevate Goodstart’s reputation, voice and purpose.
In this newly created role, you’ll be at the forefront of the parent-facing ‘Demand More’ campaign. It combines high-impact storytelling, strong media engagement, and stakeholder coordination to influence public conversation, showcase high-quality not-for-profit providers and drive improvement in quality, inclusion and affordability.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, Corporate Affairs and Partnerships (CCAP), and collaborating closely with internal teams across marketing, advocacy, policy, corporate affairs and digital to ensure aligned, purpose-driven communications.
**Your Impact**:
This role is ideal for a creative communicator with excellent writing skills, strong media instincts, and a passion for social impact. You will:
Create and deliver PR campaigns that amplify Goodstart’s purpose and thought leadership, with a focus on the parent-facing “Demand More” campaign
Working to the Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs, effectively manage digital campaign activities including:
Managing a campaign website (using CMS like WordPress or Kentico with basic HTML)
Sending EDMs via Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor
Building and nurturing a supporter base for ongoing engagement
Designing surveys and analysing engagement data to inform strategy
Create compelling communications, including social media posts, media releases, talking points, and executive briefings that resonate with diverse audiences
Proactively identify media opportunities, pitch stories, manage enquiries, and prepare spokespeople for interviews to increase campaign visibility
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated, consistent messaging and maximum impact of campaigns
Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and media monitoring platforms
Support the coordination of press conferences, events, and promotional activities that showcase Goodstart’s initiatives and impact.

**About You**:
A degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field
2-4 years’ experience in PR, communications or media roles (including managing a digital platform or campaign)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of the media landscape.
Proven ability to craft compelling content and manage media engagement, including pitching stories and preparing spokespeople
Proficient in website content management platforms (WordPress or Kentico) and have basic HTML skills to customise and troubleshoot
Experience with platforms such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, including building responsive templates, setting up automation and optimising engagement metrics
Ability to use analytics tools (Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey & Microsoft Forms) to track campaign performance and audience feedback.
