IT Support Technician

**Responsibilities**:
**POS Machine Support**:Provide expert support for Point of Sale (POS) machines, ensuring their smooth operation and mínimal downtime.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to POS systems promptly.
Collaborate with vendors for system updates, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Implement security measures to safeguard POS systems against potential threats.
Ensure the seamless integration of Microsoft 365 tools with other business systems.
Stay updated on Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.
**Technical Assistance**:Respond to IT support requests from end-users, providing timely and effective solutions.
Offer remote and on-site support, as necessary, to address user concerns.
**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
Create and update documentation for POS and Microsoft 365 systems, ensuring it is accessible to relevant personnel.
Generate regular reports on system performance and user support metrics.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of POS hardware, software, and payment processing systems.
- Familiarity with security measures for POS systems and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
