**About the role**

Reporting to the Selleys Global Head of R&D, your main goal is to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful product solutions that are both commercially and operationally viable. Your team will oversee the development and formulation of innovative new products from laboratory/pilot scale development batches through to the scale-up of bulk production formulation processes. You'll develop strategies to expedite innovation, bolstering our existing product portfolio, and meeting our sustainability and regulatory requirements

**Responsibilities**
- Manage our Formulation team to ensure on-time delivery of innovation and operational projects
- Work closely with marketing and procurement teams to commercialize new and compliant formulations and technologies, aligning with the Selleys NPD plan
- Adherence to timelines and effective communication of obstacles and difficulties is critical
- Develop strong technical, statistical, and formulation science capabilities within the team
- Work closely with the supply chain and production sites to ensure that our products consistently meet end-user performance and quality standards

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related material sciences field
- Industrial experience in Sealants & Adhesives, Coatings, or similar industries
- Successful track record in new product development
- Proficiency in fostering internal and external technology partnership
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, coupled with collaborative work style and excellent communication abilities
