Based in our Sydney office, the** Associate Design Manager Rail** is responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services in the Rail market in the ANZ region. The role will be responsible for project technical delivery, supporting design management and project management, supporting positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects. The role will support management of the Rail team, in terms of team technical development and growth, building design capability and supporting the growing the Rail portfolio. Key to this role will be the interface with GID delivery centres to improve delivery capability to meet targets. You will also lead and deliver technically excellent designs and consultancy services whilst driving business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the win of opportunities. Additionally, you will manage projects in both PM and DE roles delivering projects on cost, on time, and resulting in client satisfaction whilst supporting and providing design management functions on projects. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Chartered Civil Engineer - Extensive knowledge and breadth of experience in preparing Civil Design and deliverables for Rail infrastructure projects - Extensive understanding of Rail Design principles and methods - Extensive understanding of the multidisciplinary interfaces with Rail Design - Strong understanding of technical standards - Strong understanding knowledge of the local environment and industry as well as strong negotiation skills with respect to technical matters - The ability to provide Rail Design and technical assistance and advice to Project Managers / Technical Leads. **Jacobs.
