Our Power team work throughout Australasia on high-value projects from traditional high voltage power transmission to infrastructure, industrial projects with many energy sector clients. We've honed our skills over many years providing solutions to our power generation, renewables, transmission and distribution clients across Australasia. We offer the opportunity to work on both small
- and large-scale projects as part of a strong established team.

**The Opportunity**

With a strong pipeline of work, our team is growing, and we are looking for a senior-level design manager to help us enhance project delivery and collaboration across our business.

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will be managing multi-disciplinary projects across transmission, distribution, and rail—from tender to detailed design, including providing engineering support during installation and commissioning phases. You will utilise strong design management skills to manage internal teams (local and remote) and client relationships, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed service levels.

This is an interesting and varied role that will provide career growth and challenge.

**About You**

You are a confident and capable engineer looking to grow your career in design management. Experience in the delivery of rail traction power will be a bonus. You will ideally have significant engineering experience with a passion for design. You must also:

- Be organised, adaptable, and able to think outside the box
- Can provide design leadership in complex tasks
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Be a great communicator, able to explain complex issues to a range of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Have experience running distributed multi-disciplinary project teams
- Be results-oriented, with a solid technical engineering background in transmission, distribution, or rail traction power and project delivery
- Have advanced relationship management skills

To be part of this dynamic and busy team, we’re looking for someone with drive, energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and enthusiasm. Previous experience working in a team environment is essential, along with the ability to lead, manage, and support multiple tasks.
