**About the opportunity**:
Building on our continued success and growth, we are currently hiring for an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director - Asset Management & Maintenance based in Sydney.
The key focus areas for the Asset Management & Maintenance service line includes the following:
- Development of Asset Management & Maintenance strategies.
- Asset management & maintenance reviews and assessments.
- Enterprise asset management & maintenance development.
- Standards review and development.
- Application of intelligent asset management systems, technology and solutions.
- Infrastructure reliability assessments and advice.
- Route asset management planning and development.
- Asset audits, due diligence assessments and assurance reviews.
You will be involved in leading asset management & maintenance teams, providing people leadership and service line capability to deliver asset solutions that meet the needs of our client organisations. You will have the opportunity to act as a project manager on consultancy contracts and manage, or contribute to the completion of consultancy contracts, delivering projects on time and to budget.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
Essential:
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the Rail industry.
- Subject Matter Expertise in the area of Track Infrastructure.
- Proven track record delivering asset management & maintenance initiatives/solutions.
- Proven ability to translate client needs into working solutions.
- Developed Report Writing ability.
- Well-developed skills in problem solving and written/verbal communication, collaborative working and time/priority management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sustain relationships with customers, identify and develop opportunities and manage these through to new work.
- Experience using Enterprise Asset Management Systems (such as Ellipse, Maximo, SAP) preferably within the rail sector.
Desirable:
- Membership of relevant professional body.
- Formal Asset Management Qualification.
- Understanding of Australian market and client relationships in Transport/Rail sector.
