**Job Description**:

The role of a graduate will give you a combination of formal training and practical experience in order to develop all the skills required to enable you to become a rounded and successful professional.

We work on projects of all sizes from one-off developments to mega-programmes, from planning the future development of international airports to site based construction of individual buildings. We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use. What this means for your development is the breadth of experience you will receive - from working as part of a large team to learn our methodologies, to managing your own project independently with accountability for delivery and generating income. You will receive accredited training to develop your skills alongside on the job learning.

In this role, your duties will be:

- Assist with the develop of an an effective and efficient projects safety management system and programs.
- Assist with the development of management plans and associated documentation.
- Assist with the provision of effective and high quality Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) service to clients.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports including recommendations on safety management, statistics, OS&H and Workers’ Compensation.
- Assist in strategic and technical advice on all matters related to OH&S and Injury Management
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of a practical OH&S strategy utilising a consultative and collaborative model, to develop a culture of embracing and valuing safety.
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of the OH&S projects management system, including standards, policies and procedures and supporting systems, ensuring that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are met.
- Assist to ensure that rigorous OH&S audits, inspections and investigations are conducted, and that appropriate risk identification, assessment and control measures are in place.
- Ensure that breaches of standards or procedures and any non-compliances or observations are investigated, resolved, corrective actions taken, and learnings identified and disseminated across the organisation.
- Analyse OH&S related information and prepare regular reports for the Manager and Executive Management Team.
- Assist in the monitoring of business plans and budgets as they relate to OH&S management.
- Work collaboratively within clientele to promote, support and foster a workplace culture where each employee takes responsibility for their own overall safety performance.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with clientele managers, supervisors and employees, ensuring that all parties have a clear agreement and understanding of their respective roles and accountabilities to reduce risk and injury and ensure a safe workplace.
- Provide expert advice to clientele, internal and external stakeholders with respect to the policies, management guidelines and procedures as applicable to OH&S.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Must be in Australia with full working rights**:

- Relevant degree qualifications in a Health and Safety discipline, Project Management or Construction Management.
- Clear motivation for the construction or Natural Resources industry
- Highly numerate and computer literate, with solid competency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with reporting and planning software such as Power BI and MS Project
