We currently have an opportunity for a **Trainee Furniture Repairer** to join an industry leader in imported furniture based in Wetherill Park.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Attend scheduled service calls at customer homes to inspect furniture.
- Assembling furniture as required.
- Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for wood furniture, leather, fabric, and upholstery.
- Reporting on all outcomes of service calls.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to offer the best solution for the customer.

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar role (preferable)
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of wood repairs including scratches, dents, and splits.
- Can perform upholstery repairs including structural/internal mechanism replacements.
- Previous experience assembling furniture
- Be a self-motivated started able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Hold a current Driver’s License w/ no restrictions

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

- Repairs: 1 year (preferred)
