**About this role**:
Join a local Sydney council as Project Officer, ensuring the progression and success of projects through their lifecycle.Your role will be highly varied, working across multiple portfolios and projects, ensuring alignment with wider Council policy and strategic initiatives as determined.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Foster a partnership approach to working with all business units across Council
- Prepare materials required for project update and Council meetings
- Oversee and manage project systems and documentation processes
- Ensure the timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and disposal of relevant project information
- Update all information relating to process mapping, process improvement, project management activities, and templates
- Support Project Managers to create and actively manage/update project plans
- Actively review project status reports for all projects and escalate issues to the Project Manager

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a project coordination, administration, document control or records management within architecture, construction or engineering
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
