**Position description**
An exciting opportunity as arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join an established business on short notice. The role is requiring someone who can begin immediately. The company is an industry-leading business and is well-known for having a supportive, team-oriented working culture.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Handling the accounts payable mailbox
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries

**The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable Officer role, as well as the following attribute**
- Immediately available to start
- Reliable and committed to the role and business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Concur or expense management system experience desirable.
