The role:
Based in a retail environment, we are urgently looking for Security Officers, various positions available, located **Orion Shopping Centre, **that will be responsible for, however not limited to:

- Coordination and completion of necessary documentation in relation to incidents; security incidents; checklists and all major incidents
- Management of weekly / monthly KPI’s as per the contract
- Respond efficiently to any service complaints and resolve matters effectively.
- Accountability for overseeing the day-to-day operations and successful performance of the Security contract/site
- Conducting regular patrols and checks of the building
- Responding to codes when required and attending to any incidents
- Coordinating lock down and opening of buildings at set times
- Support management in situations of conflict & emergency management.
- Ensure the safety of staff on site.

About you:
You will be a fully licensed security professional with experience working on busy sites with large volumes of people coming and going.

The successful applicants will ideally have:

- 1+ years experience as a security officer, supervisor or manager
- Ability and experience in leading teams
- Valid security license, first aid and CPR certificate
- White card holder
- A high standard of professionalism and presentation
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work
- Experience in a commercial building environment is beneficial but not essential.

Pay: $25.27 - $63.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
