**Department/Team Overview**

9Now is Nines’ Broadcast Video On Demand platform where Australians can access Nine’s IP delivered Live channels and on demand content, for free.

The 9Now Programming and Operations team is at the heart of Nine’s strategy for engaging audiences and distributing widely. The team is responsible for the programming, publishing, distribution and optimisation of live and on demand content on 9Now.

**Your new opportunity at Nine**:
The Associate Producer - Programming and Operations works in a team of Producers tasked with the daily media asset management of content on the 9Now platform.

This is a casual role with flexible working arrangements. This is a great opportunity to kick start your journey in digital and broadcast television.

Career pathways for this role include but are not limited to progressing to a full-time Producer in the 9Now Programming & Operations team, Programming Assistant, Technical Producer, Production assistant.

You will be a part of Nine’s programming department, responsible for driving Nine’s broadcast and 9Now content strategy and the opportunity to engage and learn about Television content and audiences.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Uploading and scheduling of VOD series, seasons, episodes & clips
- Compiling VOD episodes for publish
- Ensuring metadata quality assurance across all series and episode descriptions
- Using editorial judgement editing thumbnails and carousel slides
- Scheduling and monitoring live stream events
- Updating homepage rails and connected TV feeds
- Escalate issues as they arise with the Technology, Product and the wider Programming & Operations teams.
- Liaising with internal and external Operations teams to ensure that content is published as scheduled
- Quality control of VOD, Live and key art assets on the 9Now platform

**Qualifications**:

- Be available to work 9am -5pm shifts as well as weekends, nights (3pm-11pm) and early morning shifts on occasion.
- Be a highly motivated individual who thrives in a deadline driven environment
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and prioritse
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, MyDrive)
- Ability and eagerness to adapt, learning new technologies and workflows and procedures
- Photoshop skills and Adobe Premiere pro editing skills is desired
