**Job Description**:
**Your New Opportunity at Nine**

The Associate Digital Producer is based in our brand new North Sydney office, working in the 9Honey digital team alongside the digital news, video and social media teams.

The role includes finding breaking stories, generating original story ideas, research, writing and curating content for the site. Source images, video and other attributes needed for on site and in social media. Shift work and weekend work will be required.

Day to day you will:

- Pitch and be across breaking lifestyle, celebrity and parenting news
- Write six to seven lifestyle news stories a day
- Assist in the promotion of your stories, including via homepage headlines, social media and newsletters
- Source video and images for stories, using Photoshop to assist in image editing

**_ Please note you will be required to work Thursday - Monday in this position._**

**Qualifications**:

In order to succeed you will ideally have:

- Demonstrated writing skills essential, with proven ability to produce clear compelling copy
- Ability to source original news and feature stories
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, grammar and syntax
- Strong digital platform skills and a working understanding of all social media platforms
- An understanding of legal best practice, including defamation laws
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferable
