- This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organic social media strategy for Politix’s social channels, which include Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The role focuses on implementing test-and-learn strategies to drive engagement, brand presence, and community growth. In addition, the position supports the digital customer service strategy across all social platforms.**_ Key Accountabilities_**
Social Media & Strategy Planning
- Provide ongoing strategic recommendations for social media, including defining the role of each channel based on brand pillars, execution plans, analysing key metrics, and evolving strategy as needed.- Collaborate on content creation, including writing copy, creating engaging content calendars, sourcing imagery and UGC, arranging photoshoots, and repurposing existing customer content when necessary.

- **_Content & Channel Management_**
- Drive the development and execution of content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, YouTube, Twitter, and other relevant social platforms.
- Conduct weekly reporting, analyse channel performance, and optimise strategies to drive engagement, community growth, or revenue as required.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and sharing of the organic social media schedule to ensure timely content delivery.
**_Performance & Reporting_**
- Deliver detailed reporting and insights on the performance of all social networks to optimise ongoing tactics and future strategies.
- Monitor and report on weekly performance, content effectiveness, campaign results, and social media listening insights.
- Create and manage dashboards for tracking social media KPIs and progress towards goals.
**_Team & Administrative Support_**
- Maintain regular status updates for key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall business goals.
- Create and maintain a digital library of social media activities for future reference and learning.
- Support general office activities as required, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
**_Key Capabilities_**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing / digital, or equivalent experience
- Senior experience managing and executing commercial social media channels.
- Proven track record in developing and delivering successful organic social media campaigns, driving engagement and growth.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving social trends.- In-depth technical knowledge of social media insights platforms and analytics tools, with the ability to track and optimise performance.
Strong attention to detail, paired with excellent analytical skills to assess campaign success and make data-driven decisions.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling copy and conveying complex ideas clearly.
