**About The Role**:
As a Program Scheduler you will work with limited guidance, being outcome orientated and accountable for the achievement of outcomes of work. Excellent communication skills, initiative and judgement will be required to provide detailed planning and scheduling. You will provide technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work schedules and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management.****
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance project schedules to support project objectives.
- Provide project governance support and participate in key project workshops.
- Support broader Project Controls activities as required.
- Analyse project information and cost data to adequately monitor and report on project cost and schedule progress, and to provide practical Earned Value Performance Measurement (EVPM).
- Monitor, advise and assist project management personnel in relation to the use of current industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.
- Manage individual schedules to ensure effective completion of all scheduled task and activities and work with the Scheduler to incorporate changes to the master schedule where required.
- Services are to be provided by personnel with a thorough understanding of both the military and operational environment as well as the capability integration requirements.
**About You**:
- More than 3 years experience scheduling in the Defence environment.
- Scheduling and project management experience.
- Experience in the delivery of Defence projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient operation of Open Plan Professional (OPP) Software not less than Version 8 with a comprehensive understanding of scheduling practices on complex Defence Projects.
- A comprehensive understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
- A recognised schedule management professional qualification.Higher education sector accreditation at minimum advanced diploma level.
- Experience in authoring engineering / logistics technical documents to support capability introduction to service e.g. Installation, Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Instructions (EMEIs), User Handbooks.
- **NV1 Clearance Required**
