**The opportunity**
As a Scheduler you will develop, analyse, and manage project schedules using tools such as MS Project, Primavera (and others). You will provide valuable advice and reporting to Project and Program Managers on overall project schedule performance, helping to ensure projects are on track and milestones are achieved. Your ability to identify and highlight risks early during the project/program lifecycle will be vital to successful project delivery, achievement of outcomes and realisation of benefits aligned to the organisation’s strategic objectives.

**Your key responsibilities as a MetaPM Scheduler will include**:
- Development and refinement of assigned project and program schedules.
- Setting and tracking of milestones to ensure project/program progress.
- Analysis and maintenance of inter-project dependencies.
- Data quality management through liaison with Project and Program Managers.
- Identifying and highlighting risks early to enable proactive mitigation.
- Providing reports and recommendations which enable efficient and effective project management.
- Production of project schedules using standard schedule template and resource demand reports.
- Supporting project managers to successfully deliver projects and manage risks.
- Ensuring all organisational governance requirements, management policies and standards are adhered to in the execution of the project/program.
**About You**
- Experience planning and designing project schedules and programs of work.
- Ability to work effectively under limited or no supervision and manage competing priorities and timeframes.
- Attention to detail, diligence, and commitment to quality and accountability of personal output.
- Proficiency setting and tracking milestones to monitor project progress.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
- Knowledge of different project delivery methods and associated controls across the project lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience in risk identification and assessment within a project/program environment.
- Consulting experience, either with a professional services business or internal consulting as part of your role, will be looked upon favourably.
