Sydney CBD | $80-120k + super | Permanent Opportunity
**Your new company**
You will be responsible for managing the WHSE matters for a national professional services consulting firm, which is focused on the provision of heritage advisory and archaeological services. This is a permanent role based in the CBD which will include some occasional interstate travel.

**Your new role**
- Manage and maintain our WHSE and Quality management systems
- Maintain accreditation against ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Conduct internal office and site-based audits as part of the ISO accreditation process and manage the external audit and accreditation process
- Manage and coordinate the Work Health Safety and Environment Committee
- Provide IMS inductions to new staff
- Review and develop management procedures, processes, registers, safe work method statements, safe operating procedures, job safety assessments, project safety plans and other documentation as required
- Undertake internal investigations of WHSE incidents and make recommendations
- Work with the People and Culture Manager to ensure staff are appropriately trained in identified WHSE matters
- Periodic delivery of WHSE related workshops and training to staff
- Prepare WHSE reports to the Board of Directors

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Background in construction, property development, infrastructure or related industry
- Qualifications in work health safety and environmental systems management
- Experience in the identification and management of workplace health, safety and environmental risks
- Experience in the development and management of procedures and supporting documentation in accordance with ISO standards
- Experience in working on greenfield and brownfield sites
- Experience in WHSE auditing
- Driver’s license
