Health & Safety Advisor – North Sydney & Shire (Site-Based)

Full-time | First project: $70M Mixed-Use Development

Join a highly regarded Sydney construction company, known for delivering high-value projects with an impeccable reputation. You will be site-based on a $70M mixed-use project in North Sydney, with additional opportunities on projects in the Shire, as well as across Class 2 projects throughout Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HSEQ initiatives on site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and toolbox talks
  • Implement and monitor safety management systems, promoting a safety-first culture
  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and resolve HSE risks

About You

  • Cert IV WHS with proven experience in HSE roles
  • Background in residential and commercial construction projects
  • Experience using management system software (e.g., Hammertech preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and OFSC accreditation advantageous
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a proactive mindset
  • Passionate about promoting a safe and positive workplace culture
