If so, here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Leading Hand to come and join our factory team If you are looking for the opportunity to help lead a passionate team of associates whilst also being given the chance to develop and progress personally then look at the below

The Leading Hand will be accountable for the day-to-day performance of the factory, ensuring that the machines, processes and pieces of equipment run to standard, and to help with operational decisions at line level to achieve targets and coordinate resources as required. You will also prepare handovers and shift summaries for the oncoming shift. There will also be an element of leading/coaching/training the associates dedicated to your line so leadership experience would be beneficial but is not a must.

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience leading / coordinating a small team of associates - again desirable.
- Experience in FMCG / High speed production - desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude would be desirable.
- Highly energetic person
- able to deal with ambiguity and deliver KPI on time
- ability to engage others
- Accountability conversations
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Working in a high performing team as part of the leadership team.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- First point of call from the factory.
- Running operational meetings.
- Reporting on variation to line standard.
- Line Tours.
- Shift Training validation.
- Handovers
