Myer is looking for a Retail Operations Lead to develop and execute a support strategy aligned with the Myer Customer Strategy. You will lead a small, high-performing team that supports the delivery of retail operational systems, providing effective solutions to drive both customer and commercial outcomes. The role requires strong financial acumen to review business reports, interpret data and make informed decisions that improve operational performance and deliver results across stores.

About the role:

- Reviews and drives continuous improvement in store procedures
- Supports procurement of Team member support services in store
- Prepares business metrics and reviews monthly
- Manages the store incentives & customer program – MyWallet/CFC
- Manages SSO MyWallet Financials & Approvals
- Manages the distribution of daily sales and compliance reporting
- Manages internal business presentations (trade and leadership briefings)
- Manages provision of operational support, investigations, and advice on effective solutions.
- Establishes meaningful and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the right outcome for the business
- Manages processing of operational purchase orders and invoices in line with budgeted responsibility and due timescales.
- Coordinates communication between third party and stores to drive desired operational outcomes.
- Advises projects on retail requirements and supports transition of projects to BAU
- Manages the compliance of compass tasks across the store network

About you:

- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (big‑box retailer preferred).
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse business data and make commercially sound decisions.
- Myer operational experience highly regarded.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
- Effective prioritisation and organisation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to business change.
- Ability to perform tasks with urgency and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in‑house IT systems.
