Myer is looking for a Retail Support Lead to develop and execute a support strategy that enhances the customer experience while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. Aligned with the Myer Customer Strategy, this role is responsible for driving initiatives that enable store teams to deliver a seamless, engaging and satisfying customer journey. With a focus on continuous improvement, collaboration and execution excellence, the Retail Support Lead plays a key role in bridging operational support with commercial success across the business.

Responsibilities
- Writes, reviews and publishes business communications to stores
- Managing two teams (Communication and Ticketing Teams)
- Devises compliant and comprehensive ticket templates for stores to enhance the customers ease of shop
- Establishes event guides and issues to stores to ensure consistency in the customer experience
- Engages with and procures vendors for the Santaland experience in store, ensuring a magical journey
- Procures and purchases branding assets for stores ensuring continuity and cohesion in the brand presentation
- Compiles a meaningful set of Myer Metrics to drive the operational outcomes and aligns appropriate reporting
- Establishes meaningful and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the right outcomes for the business
About you
- Leadership experience, preferably within a retail environment
- Strong operational and retail background
- Highly articulate with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and understand operational needs
- Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with event calendars and coordinating support around key campaigns
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and in-house systems
- Experience advising on retail requirements for projects and supporting transitions to business-as-usual
- Skilled at identifying team strengths and driving engagement through purposeful leadership and support
